"The bilingual classes meant my parents could follow what I was learning — they cried at my final premiere. I still have classmates from Tehran and Berlin who I work with on shared projects."

Common questions

What parents abroad ask us

Does my child need an iPad or drawing tablet?

Recommended but not required for the first season. We provide setup guides for laptop + mouse, Wacom tablets, iPad with Apple Pencil, or Android tablets. We help you pick what fits your budget.

What software costs are there?

Almost everything is free or open-source — Krita, Blender, DaVinci Resolve, OpenToonz are all free. Only at the high-school track do we touch After Effects (free 1-week trials suffice for class projects).

What if my child can't draw at all?

Perfect starting point. Season 1 of every age band starts with the basics. We've taught total beginners who finished the year with festival-quality work.

Class language?

Bilingual — English and Persian, your choice per session. Most diaspora families pick English with Persian explanations when needed.

Can my child join mid-year?

Yes. Each season has a 2-week onboarding window with catch-up sessions.
