Common questions

What diaspora parents ask us

Won't this increase my child's gaming addiction?

The opposite — we shift kids from consumers to creators. Most parents tell us their child's screen time becomes much more productive.

Is Scratch real programming?

Absolutely. Scratch teaches loops, conditions, variables, events — the real building blocks. MIT created it for this reason. Many of our Scratch kids transition to Python easily.

What if my child can't read yet?

For under-6 we use ScratchJr — pictorial blocks, no reading needed.

Do they need a special computer?

Any laptop or tablet with a browser. iPad with ScratchJr is great for little ones.

Can my child join mid-year?

Yes. 2-week onboarding.
